Along with the outpatient program, we also offer an intensive outpatient program for patients who need something more than what is offered in our other services. Our intensive outpatient program is designed to be full of hope and encouragement, in order to give young women an incredibly strong foundation to grow and develop their lives towards a model of success and empowerment.
Difference between the outpatient program
Our goal for our patients to achieve balance and success in rebuilding their lives is always the same, regardless of whether that is in the outpatient or intensive outpatient program. However, each program might be a better fit for certain patients, depending on their life situations. In particular, the intensive outpatient program is much more of a time commitment, with many patients being onsite for between 9 to 15 hours per week. This added time gives patients more foundation for finding the passion that they need to define their purpose.
Who is intensive outpatient for?
The purpose for having an intensive outpatient program that is separate from a standard outpatient program is that certain people are in need of more attention from the type of service that we offer. Young women who really find themselves struggling with the bounds and confines of society may not be reached by one simple visit each week. These are the individuals who are in most need of what an intensive outpatient program has to offer.
Training for a better life
The therapeutic setting that we provide, along with the actual therapy, is a wonderfully serene place to rediscover one’s identity. In our intensive outpatient program, we offer a wide variety of training to become a more wellrounded person who can thrive in the outside world. This training can cover work skills, social skills, money skills, and vocational training.
