Years Experience
Randy and Toni are the parents one son and four daughters. They became passionate about helping young women after helping one of their daughters through an abusive relationship. It was very hard for them to find the right help because there weren’t enough resources or understanding about trauma and abuse.
Randy was a therapist with over 20 years of experience, and Toni was active in youth and school programs. Even with their experience, this was a difficult and eye-opening time for their whole family.
They wanted to help others, so they started a special school for girls who need support. This school grew into a licensed treatment center in Arizona. They also offer treatment programs in Utah.
For the past 17 years, they and their team have helped nearly 1,000 families using proven therapy methods. Their goal is to help young women believe in themselves, grow stronger, and become their best selves.

Residential Treatment, Boarding Schools, Addiction Recovery, and the Troubled Teen Industry;
They have all garnered a bad wrap, hurt young people, and in some cases destroyed families.
So why on earth would you send young women anywhere at this point?
Because at Your Life Launch, we have one primary focus — your teen's future
and giving her the tools, skills and — most importantly — belief in herself to succeed.
Letting your teen go for six months or more can be terrifying and disheartening! We want you to know how important she is to us.
Ensure her safety and well-being
We make sure all our staff pass strict background checks and follow strong safety rules to keep everyone safe. If you or the young women ever feel uncomfortable or thinks she has been treated unfairly, she can report it privately. We will listen, take it seriously, and look into it carefully. She will also be protected from any unfair treatment for speaking up. Her safety and happiness are the most important things to us.
Medical Care
We make sure the young women get the care they need, when they need it. Her health plan is created with you, the parent/guardian, and her doctors. This way it fits her perfectly and keeps her feeling her best.
Privacy
We keep your daughter's privacy safe while making sure she is always protected. We respect her personal space while also making sure our program stays strong and secure.
Dignity
We believe everyone should be treated with kindness and respect, so we don’t use harsh words or punishments to scare people. This helps keep our space calm, supportive, and safe for everyone.
Communication
We always share important information with Parents/Guardians, and students in a clear and honest way. This includes everything in the student's file. To keep things private and safe, Parents/Guardians will give us a list of people who are allowed to call or send letters.
Visits
No scripts. No coercion. We are happy to facilitate planned visits for anyone on the parents/guardians approved contacts list.
Withdrawal from the Program
Your daughter may be withdrawn from the program with Parental approval.
Nourishing meals made daily
Providing good food is essential for physical, mental and emotional health. Food is never used as a bargaining chip or punishment.
Sleep and Rest
Every young woman gets her own bed, so they have a comfy and consistent sleep routine without interruptions. A good night’s sleep isn’t just nice — it’s important for feeling good, staying healthy, and doing well in school.
Personal Possessions
Students have a right to personal possessions within the Safety Guidlines.
Prohibit Restraints or Seclusion
No restraints or seclusion. Your daughter's safety, respect, and happiness are most important to us. However, if an Emergency Safety Response is needed to keep everyone safe, we will talk to you the Parent/Guardian right away about what happened and what comes next.
Education
We provide a high-quality education that fits your daughter’s needs and helps her succeed. Our lessons are the right level for her age and make learning enjoyable. We keep both students and parents informed about grades and progress. If your family moves to another school, we make sure her education is recognized — as long as all payments are up to date.
Navigating the Teen years can be especially difficult for some individuals.
Because of this, Your Life Launch offers Therapeutic Milieu. A fancy way of saying that we provide a well-structured environment where girls can learn life skills, routines, healthier thought patterns, and a stronger emotional resilience. A place where your daughter can develop a strong, healthy self image and face the struggles of life with confidence.
Through shared moments of board games, creative crafts, movie nights, and music, students build meaningful connections, fostering a warm and welcoming sense of community where everyone feels at home.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR Therapy, is a structured, evidence-based approach designed to help people process and heal from distressing memories, especially those linked to trauma.
It works by guiding individuals through specific eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation that activate both sides of the brain, while they briefly recall traumatic experiences.
This helps the brain to reprocess those memories in a less stressful way.
Over time, the emotional charge tied to the trauma decreases, making the memories feel farther away and less overwhelming.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR doesn’t require deep discussion about the traumatic event—it focuses more on how the brain naturally works with emotional information. Many people report a sense of resolution and relief, saying the trauma no longer holds the same power over them.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a compassionate, evidence-based approach that helps people manage intense emotions, build healthier relationships, and develop practical coping skills — helping those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges.
Blending cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness, with a focus on acceptance and change — because let’s be honest, both are necessary for growth.
Core skills include emotional regulation, distress tolerance, person-to-person communication skills, and mindfulness. All to help navigate life’s ups and downs with more stability and self-compassion.
At its heart, DBT is about balance — honoring where you are while taking steps toward where you want to be.
Mercy owns a private practice in Glendale, Utah: Zion Counseling, LLC. With her Bachelor’s Degree in Interpersonal Communication and Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, she has worked in the field for eleven years.
Mercy is domestic violence certified and especially enjoys working with girls, women, and abuse survivors. She believes in the inherent value of every person. Her goal is to grow the self-love and personal power of everyone she works with.
Having loved and owned horses his whole life, Hal got his Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology with a minor in Agriculture with an emphasis in horse science.
Hal retired from a 21-year career as an investigator for Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and has a Master’s degree in Forensic Science.
At Hal and Mercy's private ranch, girls embark on a transformative journey using the H3 Pyramid Equine Therapy model, where the art of horsemanship intertwines with deep emotional healing.
They start with the essentials — learning horse safety and care — before progressing to groundwork and riding. Along the way, they cultivate patience, discipline, and leadership, developing skills that extend far beyond the saddle.
Horses have a remarkable way of reflecting emotions and behaviors, acting as mirrors that reveal hidden struggles and spark powerful breakthroughs. Through this unique therapy, girls not only strengthen their connections with family and friends but also build resilience, self-acceptance, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Horses have a special gift for sensing emotions and responding with honesty, creating a safe and supportive space where girls can form deep, meaningful connections.
At Your Life Launch, we provide equine-assisted therapy designed to help teenage girls build confidence, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop healthy relationships.
With the guidance of compassionate and experienced therapists, girls learn valuable life skills — like trust, patience, and self-awareness — through the unique and powerful experience of working with horses.
Your Life Launch offers engaging offsite activities designed to support teen girls on their healing journey, creating meaningful experiences that extend well beyond treatment.
With the breathtaking landscapes of Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon nearby, there’s no shortage of outdoor adventures that inspire personal growth through exploration, learning, and creative expression.
Students immerse themselves in hiking adventures, gaze in wonder at the night sky, explore ancient Native American sites, and even unearth traces of dinosaurs. These experiences spark curiosity and cultivate a deeper, more personal connection with the natural world.
Educational outings take students beyond the classroom, offering eye-opening university tours, thought-provoking community talks, inspiring museum visits, and engaging local theater performances — all designed to fuel their love for learning and personal growth.
At Your Life Launch, we believe that special adventures — like rappelling, kayaking, and tackling obstacle courses — offer more than just a thrill. They challenge students in meaningful ways, helping them build confidence and develop essential life skills that empower them to flourish long after treatment.
Through a blend of adventure, education, and genuine connection, our students grow into resilient, curious individuals, ready to embrace life’s challenges with strength and optimism.

"I would highly recommend..."
The staff, counselors and management have become like family to my wife and I over the past ten months. They are extremely professional and their approach to our girl is professional and unique.
The environment, culture and healthy lifestyle they promote is also having a dramatic impact on our child. If you have a young lady who is having serious challenges in her life, this is the best possible place she could be! 10 out of 10.

"You saved my daughter!"
“Your Life Launch saved my daughter. She has an inner dignity now which she lacked going into the program. She now experiences happiness in the present and has positive plans for the future. She is using her intelligence for college courses and being responsible in a job. I am now happy to have her living at home.
It was the right decision for her to be in the program. I feel redeemed, knowing that I did make the right decision. My daughter now loves me and is leading a constructive, happy life. The program rescued my daughter. Thank you.”

"Could not be happier!"
I could not be happier with my decision to send my daughter to Your Life Launch (YLL). It has become obvious that teaching young girls the skills to self govern and make strong healthy choices is Randy and Toni’s life passion. I wish my other two young-adult children could be so fortunate to have learned the lifelong skills my youngest daughter learned at YLL.
The support, guidance, and transparency offered through weekly parent Zoom sessions, family therapy sessions, as well as their Parenting Secrets workshop really helps keep the parent involved and in touch with your daughters progress.
